Highlights


An early goal from Michael Ballack gave the Blues an aggregate lead on away goals, but not until Frank Lampard's late doubler was the match well and truly over.

Still, Ballack's early strike was vital, and well-taken. Linking up with fellow midfielder Frank Lampard, he got on the end of the England international's free-kick to head home after just three minutes.

Then right at the death, Lampard himself got on the scoresheet with a close-range finish after Essien's low cross.
