Lyon with 3 points against Nancy
Lyon kept ahead of Bordeaux at the top of the table after a nervy yet fully deserved win over an obstinate Nancy side.
The Lorraine men, themselves aiming for the third Champions League spot, came with their eye on defending, and duly did so with great determination and physicality in the face of some nice attacking.
Such was their combative mindset at the back that the only great first half chance for Lyon - a one-on-one for Govou after Bodmer's long ball - was in fact judged offside, albeit incorrectly.
Still, just after the hour mark, OL's superiority finally bore fruit after Juninho's free-kick was parried by Bracigliano into the path of André Luiz, who put through his own net.
Lyon were home free as Nancy offered little going forward, but it was a hard road for them to get there.
